The Lying Angel

In 2018, I worked together with Geert Vandenbroele as an animator on The Lying Angel, an animated film supported by the Netherlands Film Fund and the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF). Geert created all the sketches and drawings, and together we brought them to life.

The Lying Angel takes place aboard a ship of the same name, where a party for the world’s most successful liars spins completely out of control. Who will survive the Homo Sapiens, and who will turn out to be the biggest storyteller of all? The story is absurd, visually surprising, and filled with small details that came to life during the animation process.
